Founder
David Novak
David Novak served as Chairman and CEO of Yum! Brands — the parent company of KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut — growing it into one of the world's largest restaurant companies with over 45,000 locations in 140 countries. He started from humble beginnings, living in 32 states by the time he finished high school, and became one of the most celebrated CEOs in Fortune 500 history.
After retiring from Yum!, David founded How Leaders Lead with one goal: share everything he learned — and everything the world's great leaders know — with anyone willing to do the work of becoming a better leader.
